Deborah C. Beidel, UCF clinical psychology professor and director of the doctoral program is awarded a $3.5 million grant. The grant was from the Military Operational Medicine Research Program. The purpose of this grant is to allow research to be conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of two different treatments that are being used on military members who are returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. In the long run this study is looking to benefit those who are suffering from combat-related post-traumatic stress disorder.
